How do you choose the right partner to help develop the ITAM program for the organization? RFP has been submitted, we are reviewing the proposal, but how do you choose the right one? I am new to ITAM and I am still learning the ITAM terminology. Thanks!

What was the RFP submitted for? The total ITAM program or only the implementation of the tool? You need to decide your requirements, lay them down in an excel spreadsheet and allocate a points system. THis is the most easy way to select. The one with the highest points allocated, ia the one with the most fit to your requirements. Also, investigate the partner’s history (resume) on development and implementation of the ITAM program, before making a decision. If possible, have discussions with previous or current customers of the selected partner before making your final decision.
